  We're hiring for MYSQL DBA Architect 
  
  Exp:10+ yrs

   

  Responsibility as a database administrator (DBA) will be the performance, integrity, and security of a database. You'll be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users

  10+ years of software industry experience as MySQL DBA. Installed and configured MYSQL on Windows Linux Environments. Performed Installation, new databases design, configuration, backup, recovery, security upgrade, schema changes, tuning and data integrity. Performed incremental backup and log file rotation. Increased database performance by utilizing MYSQL configuration changes multiple instances.

  Familiar with hands-on experience on different MySQL cluster setups like Innodb, Galeria, Percona in both active-active and active-passive configurations.

  Creating maintenance jobs and monitoring logs.

  Hands on experience in Upgrading MySQL

  Configure Master-Master, Master-Slave replication, and DR set-up

  Experience/familiarity with Percona toolkit for backup, restore, online schema change

  Experience performing database analysis, architecture, and application development
  Considerable knowledge of different database management systems, query tools, database schemas, and distributed systems
  Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL including solid troubleshooting & SQL tuning skills
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address mission critical production database issues
  Excellent communication and organization skills with ability to operate in a lean, fast-paced organization
  Ability to write/modify Unix shell scripts

  Creating and managing meaningful table indexes to improve performance
